Terms & conditions

Please read these terms carefully. By booking work with Sky Scrapers Ltd you agree to them.

Effective date: 30 July 2026

  1. 1.Quotations & bookings

    All quotations are free and valid for 30 days. Bookings are confirmed once we receive written or verbal acceptance. Work will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

  2. 2.Payment terms

    Payment is due on completion of work unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer and card payments.

  3. 3.Scope of work

    Our service includes hand scraping of moss, manual cleaning of roof tiles, application of biocide treatment and a free gutter and fascia clean. Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

  4. 4.Cancellations

    If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a call-out fee.

  5. 5.Access

    We require safe access to all areas of the roof and gutters. Please ensure driveways, gates and access routes are clear on the day of the clean.

  6. 6.Property & plants

    We take great care to protect your property and plants. Please let us know of any fragile or valuable items before work begins. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or hidden faults.

  7. 7.Weather conditions

    Our work is weather dependent. In the event of heavy rain or high winds, we may need to rearrange to ensure the best possible results and the safety of our team.

  8. 8.Limitation of liability

    Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

  9. 9.Biocide treatment

    Biocide is applied to kill remaining spores and protect against future moss, algae and lichen regrowth. Results may take several weeks to fully appear.

  10. 10.Complaints

    Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns, please contact us within 7 days of completion and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

  11. 11.Results & expectations

    We remove as much moss, dirt and build-up as possible using traditional hand methods. Some light staining or discolouration may remain on older roofs and will fade naturally over time.

  12. 12.Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
